Between Heaven and Earth
Yesterday in Paris, the Grand Palais was the stage of a new cosmos.
Under a sky of suspended planets, Matthieu Blazy presented his debut as creative director of Chanel, marking the beginning of a new era. The runway, reflecting the cosmos, received models who walked classic tweed, fluid silhouettes, low-waisted skirts and much silk, reinterpreting the classic tweed.
Blazy, known for his innovative vision, brought to light a collection that dialogues with the stars, as if the stars had whispered their secrets to him. This fusion between the legacy of Chanel and the modernity proposed by Blazy resonates with the astrological universe and fragments of the zodiac that guide us in TH, in our daily content, beyond curations, connecting us with the cosmos.
"Even in the stars, it is worth mentioning the signs so present in the house's language. Gabrielle was leonine, Karl Lagerfeld virginian and Blazy, cancerian. This sensitivity to the skin, so typical of Cancer, marks his debut: emotional, romantic, intuitive."
The collection was a conversation between the past and the future, between tradition and innovation.
When the classic hit of Snap!, "Rhythm is a Dancer", lyrics reinforce the atmosphere: "Lift your hands and voices, free your mind and join us. You can feel it in the air", there is a vibrant warmth, reflected in the reds and brocades of the collection.
Like the stars guide our paths, Blazy guided Chanel on a new path, full of possibilities and promises.
"It was much Chanel, it was much Matthieu. The haute couture, however, promises even more, Blazy renewed almost the entire creative team, here we will have the chance to understand what he proposes beyond the daily: the fantasy that we so long for, even through the small screen we hold nervously in our hands."
