On World Environment Day, we celebrate consciousness - in the form of curation...

In creating this project, we launched four badges that you should already have seen at TH: upcycling, sustainable materials, small producer and social responsibility help us tell these stories.

UPCYCLING

Pieces made from materials reused and redefined. Here, the new emerges from what already had life - and finds a second chance to transform with purpose. Reusing materials, and objects that would be discarded, transforming them into something of greater value or utility.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL

Products developed with materials of minimal environmental impact, such as forested wood, natural or recycled fibers, and ceramics with low energy consumption. Material that respects the earth's time - and causes the least possible impact on the environment.

SMALL PRODUCER

A selection of pieces created in small scale, by independent ateliers and artisans. The choice to keep alive and promote local, manual and affective production - that crosses generations, preserving traditional skills, and encouraging fair trade relationships.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Pieces with direct impact on community transformation, with focus on income generation, capacity building and preservation of traditional knowledge. Here, design is a source of support for new artisans, promoting local entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.

Celebrating three years of TH Sustainable is remembering that good choices don't have to be big - they just need to be conscious.

For those, like us, who believe it is our duty to take care of what surrounds us.
