NEW IN ART-WORLD

Our passion for Suzanis goes back a long way. From trips to Turkey to Uzbekistan's irresistible décor.

Even in the art world, at the latest La Biennale di Venezia, Suzani stole the show whenever Central Asia was the subject, with a tribute to handcrafts and fabric installations.

This passion of ours meets Ad Astra in another launch, this time around the theme: Suzanis.

Traditionally produced primarily in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, Suzanis were made mainly by women and passed down from generation to generation. They formed part of bridal trousseaus and bear the marks of handcraft in their variations and irregularities. Flowers, leaves, pomegranates and large medallions compose their visual universe, tied to nature, celebration and domestic life.

This union of tradition, handcraft and home inspires the new interpretation developed by Ad Astra in new prints.

From picture frames and artwork that preserves memories on the wall to trays, this new drop celebrates another limited edition by Ad Astra at TH.
