TH at BAB 2026
The first edition of BAB ? Biennial of Brazilian Architecture takes place at the Pavilion of Brazilian Cultures (Pacubra), in Ibirapuera Park.
Within this important gathering for national architecture, the Biennial?s only store is curated by TH, becoming the sole space dedicated to selling BAB?s design and décor.
Over the past months, we have built this curation inspired by the same logic that guides the Biennial?s pavilions: Brazilian biomes as living matter, a creative force, and a true expression of our identity.
Biomes as Living Matter
When we look at Brazilian biomes as the origin of matter, each piece carries climate, geography, time, and culture. And perhaps this is what we are seeking now: fewer objects, and more stories that sustain space and territory.
Denise Braune Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
Denise Braune is a visual artist and ceramicist born in Rio de Janeiro. Since 2012, she has developed a practice investigating emptiness as a space for inhabiting, traveling between ceramics, architecture, and memory. Her work connects to the Atlantic Forest biome, not just as territory, but as a sensitive presence, where density, breath, and layers of time coexist.
MÃOS Brazilian Design
MÃOS is a Brazilian social enterprise working in different regions of the country, connecting craft communities and their knowledge. For over 10 years, it has developed projects that bring together tradition, research and positive impact, creating pieces that carry cultural context, memory, and belonging.
Paula Souza Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
At the head of Studio SALP, Paula Sousa, born in Angola and settled in the interior of São Paulo, develops research in ceramics that crosses territory, culture, and materiality. Across various geographies, she investigates soils, pigments, and processes, creating pieces that function as vessels of interiority, where memory and landscape meet.
Renata Honorato Brazilian Design ? Cerrado
Toro de Oro, by Renata Honorato, a Brazilian designer with a journey in jewelry since 2001, is born from the union between jewelry and sculpture. Her work evolves into pieces in gold, stones, and more recently, objects made from real plants. Each creation transforms organic shapes into unique, timeless pieces.
Isabel Ferrari Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
Isabel Ferrari created Três Pontos, an authorial woodworking project, finding its main raw material and inspiration in Brazil. With a direct legacy from her father?s craft, also a woodworker, lsabel develops pieces that value handmade processes and the memory of materials, using reclaimed wood and native species. Her work stands out for the marquetry made from the natural colors of Brazilian woods, creating unique designs that reveal the richness and diversity of the country. Today, she dedicates herself especially to the ?bichos? (?animals?) collection, in collaboration with her father at Marcenaria do Tatu (the Tatu Woodshop).
Heytor Borges Brazilian Design ? Caatinga
OLAR is born in Ceará, a state traversed by the Caatinga biome, from a desire to look at the tradition of Brazilian pottery with contemporary eyes. Represented by Heytor Borges, the brand develops pieces in collaboration with local artisans, translating ancestral knowledge from the region into current forms. Between memory and design, their creations balance rusticity and sophistication, reflecting the strength and uniqueness of the landscape from which they emerge.

& Luiza Toldi
Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
In the Serra da Mantiqueira in São Paulo, Ateliê Nicole & Luiza Toldi is born from the encounter of generations. Mother and daughter develop ceramic pieces without previous sketches, guided by an intuitive creative process and immersion in nature. Each work carries the spontaneous gesture and experimentation as its essence.
Virginia Macul Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
A Roda is the signature project of Virginia Macul, an artist born in São Paulo, with a 14-year stay in Rio de Janeiro, and currently based again in her hometown, shaped by the Atlantic Forest biome. With more than 20 years of experience, she found in crystals, starting her studies in 2019, the base for her creative research. Her pieces are born from the encounter of nature, energy, and form, reflecting the subtle and mineral layers of the territory she inhabits.
Tayná Scholten Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
Founded by Tayná Scholten, born in Avaré, interior of São Paulo, Casa Olin explores new pathways in ceramics from their atelier in São Paulo's capital. Integrating technology and handcraft, her work investigates unique forms and finishes while preserving the time and sensitivity of the artisanal process.
Paola Villas Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
Founded by Brazilian artist and designer Paola Vilas, the brand emerges with a signature language that moves between art, jewelry, and furniture. With a neo-surrealist aesthetic and international presence, her work explores femininity as a central axis, connecting concept, form, and identity.
Larissa Berg Ceramics Brazilian Design ? Cerrado
Larissa Berg is an artist and ceramicist whose practice arises from encounters between territories. It was in northern Iceland she developed her ceramic research, among silence, cold, and landscape. Back in Brazil, she finds her main source of meaning, creating pieces that balance memory, matter, and belonging.
Roberta Sá Faustini Brazilian Design ? Atlantic Forest
Roberta Faustini is an architect and artist born in São Paulo. Her practice moves between art and design, guided by simplicity and sustainability, exploring folds, joints, and reused materials. Her objects reflect a conscious relationship between form, function, and matter.
Tita Mallmann Brazilian Design ? Pampa
Art born in Rio Grande do Sul, rooted in the Pampa biome, carries in its essence the direct relationship between material, territory, and function. Her production moves between design and craftsmanship, valuing natural elements like wood and wool, in pieces that naturally express the identity of southern Brazil.
