Welcome to India

The table setting gains a new scene, when the tone is carefree, dressed in color and print.

The prints are part of one of the timeless traditions of block printing in India, from the delicate Sanganeri florals, in Rajasthan, to the most striking and geometric Ajrakh patterns, in Gujarat.

Born from these cheerful ways of living, with lots of music and gatherings with friends, a new drop of block print patterns.

With prints and colors scattered everywhere in all their different compositions, the new collection rescues the visual memory of Indian patterns, it calls for dance and endless mix of compositions, from dishes to glasses, and even flowers.

The fabrics mix imperfect blockprint patterns, and are placed through an artisanal process on each one of the pieces.

Over the centuries, each region developed its own techniques.

Saffron, pomegranate and madder are some of the ingredients traditionally used to produce natural dyes. The fabric is first dyed by resist to create the contours of the design and then, printed in block.

Each textile pattern, until its final result, goes through an extensive journey, from the initial washing to the final printing, witnessing a tradition transmitted through generations.

The textile arts of India have a deep connection with the land, which imparts different characteristics to each blockprint pattern. Each one develops based on the natural resources of that region.

At first glance, you might confuse a Bagh print with a Bagru, but a careful look can distinguish the difference.

The artisans who practice this textile craft for several hundred years, combine their traditional knowledge with the culture and resources of each new region, as well as floral and geometric patterns.

If you love history, the greatest source of inspiration is the feeling of a journey that is stored in time.
