PAD THAI
The mouthwatering pad thai by Renata Vanzetto @renatavanzetto.
Ingredients
150g Noodle-shaped rice pasta (you can find it in Japanese food stores)
200g of protein of your choice (chicken, beef or shrimp strips)
150g Shitake
50g raw Moyashi
1 seedless girl finger pepper
1 cup of cilantro and chives
1 tablespoon of roasted sesame
2 tablespoon of skinless roasted peanuts
1 tablespoon of roasted sesame oil
2 eggs
1 purple Onion
3 garlic cloves
1 thinly striped carrot
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoon of sugar
3 tablespoon of tamarind paste
1 tablespoon of nam pla
1/2 tea cup of soy sauce
1/2 lemon juice
How to prepare
Start by making a simple omelet with 02 whole eggs. You can do it in butter or oil, as you prefer. Reserve.
Cook the pasta in boiling water, drain and set aside.
In a skillet, put the sesame oil and brown the chopped onion and garlic. Add the chicken (or the protein that are using), the shitake and stir well. Enter the vegetables of your choice cut into thin strips and the ginger minced or freshly grated.
Now enter the seasonings: sugar, tamarind paste, nam pla, soy sauce, lemon juice, mix well. add the coriander, chopped pepper, moyashi, sesame and peanuts.
Cut the ready-made omelet into thin strips and add to the pan.
Finally, add the cooked noodles and mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
Serve with a sliced lemon, fresh cilantro leaves and chives, and an extra pepper if you like.
