Beyond Flowers

In the midst of the beauty we like to always have around, that fills our eyes and fills our soul with its subtle color and light perfume, the concern of conscious choices arises.

Apart from the very delicate and almost symbolic form of the curatorship that makes us more welcomed in the environment in which we are, one of our motivations and purpose has been to reflect on the choices we decided to have at home every day and why.

In search of valuing our Brazilian culture and DNA, we sought by the northeast of Brazil partner artisans who could bring the best of that art they know how to do at hand, a work culture that was passed from generation to generation.

We would like to convey the value of this craft work - which for us is pure art - and the opportunity to have a space for it in our curatorship.

Along with the Protea collection - which carries the symbol of Mother's Day - in such a feminine month, we also devote this space to honor and value the work of Brazilian northeastern artisans.

With more than a century of tradition, this artisanal legacy is part of the communities of Pontal de Coruripe and Poxim, which have used Ouricuri in the production of handcrafted pieces. This ancestral knowledge has been passed through generations, and today is an essential part of the lives of these regions.

The artisanal process at Pontal is a living example of sustainable development that generates income for the community through renewable raw materials, while preserving its culture and traditional knowledge.

It is a testimony of Brazil as one of the countries that most values and preserves its handcrafted traditions, from vegetable fibers to olricuri straws.

In the celebration of a month that is so feminine and familiar, we came through colors and ways to celebrate this date.
