BY STUDIO TH
If there is a detail that arouses curiosity when it comes to the production of a new project, it is the decor of niches and shelves.
Whether in the living room, bedroom or office, the niches explore the breadth of the environment and perfectly translate the meaning of multifunctionality that we want to imprint on the decor, as they combine organization with functionality.
So you know where to start organizing your bookshelf, here are 6 tips:
-
choosing the color palette you want to use is always a good starting point, but if you already have a shelf, you can empty everything and see the whole -
as a next step, we like to start with the larger pieces for a better sense of space, and then we insert green dots on the shelves, bringing life and lightness - whether with vases, plants or arrangements -
from there, it's time to put the books to play, separating them by color, size and playing with their positions, vertical and horizontal. -
Having done that, we love to see how we can explore movement, avoiding repeating shapes in items or combining different shapes, textures and colors -
still about bringing balance to the environment, we make the pieces with these elements and materials talk to each other, create a unity and combine in different perspectives -
finally, the most important of all: make sure that all of this has to do with you, with your favorite style (maxi, classic, clean?), and that each cut from there prints your identity
For the production of our bookcase, in the new space of Studio TH, we selected objects that would remind us of a refuge, after all, it would be the extension of our home.
