From The Founder
Our Fr. at TH finally became my favorite day of the week. And if you can share something, there is nothing like finding something that does you very professionally, so that one day it is a perfect mix to surrender to a hobby, and still get out of it with the feeling of accomplishment. What a good combination!
I found that even in times of not so favorable winds, there is this escape, in a place that you can unite these two things. In my case, living and breathing TH, went to unite the last day of the week with the practice that makes me the most: making productions.
It is not even by the realization itself, that yes, it is delicious, but for the immersive experience, and surrendering with body and soul, focusing on a single activity, very visual, feeling the flow of this focus, and the gift that is rest And empty of the mind, when all our attention is in a present moment.
The Latin Word Meditates - Meditatum - means 'turning to the center', is how I feel all the attention in one place in a day of production of th. What a gift!
I got excited here, just to introduce, that I took the space of this newsletter that unites us today, to share our last production, made last Friday by Studio Th (a team that almost decorates for us, Me and Paula) .
We planned this curatorship in a week: suggestions for works of art, photographs, books that besides the theme also had visual identity of space, unique works that would allow our head to travel a little as they stopped looking at them.
Among them? The necklace of the non -yuasa designer, talented and longtime partner of th. The sober and organic ceramics inspired by Waylande Gregory's Art -Deco works - which were not yet part of our curatorship in Theodora Home, but we sought for this production.
The pool table at Rain studio that would fall as a perfect bet for the side of a armchair.
And finally, the trio on the kitchen counter, just at the entrance of the house, ready to leave a key or envelope when arriving, consisting of: Nicole Toldi, our piece Rhino in soap stone (a statement of all our curatorship in soap stone), and an Italian East Vide, in Albus, which would record tradition and contemporary times, the two words we sought to portray in this address.
Next week we have one more on the agenda, another story, other souls, another identity, and a new universe to dive!
What a dream, the day I can share all the houses that we somehow understand, transform, and somehow leave a special seed, for those who make a life there.
a kiss,
Marcela Caio
