Fake never! Buying a vintage piece is a trusted job. Whenever you buy a piece, remember to request the certificate of authenticity, it ensures that the piece you are buying is real.
Conservation: To buy vintage is to look at the essence of the product, how it has been preserved over the years and what stories it tells. How was that piece kept and used throughout life? Need restoration? If it is furniture, how is the structure? It is very important to always be aware of the general state of the play.
Repertoire: Research, explore and dive into the vintage world. Any piece that has reference and purpose behind makes all the difference in décor.
