Sculpture Oxalá

Ref: 121040114
US$ 289.00

DESCRIPTION

A small oak wood sculpture featuring gold-plated details. The piece depicts a snail—one of the primary symbols of Oxalá, the most important Orisha in African-derived religions, representing life and the energy of nature's creation. Here, the snail symbolizes calmness, wisdom in the face of conflict, and triumph over calamity, protected by its own shell.

Its wooden base contrasts with the rich gold-plated details—a signature element of Nara Ota’s design—combining symbolic strength and poetic delicacy in a single object.

Original design by Nara Ota for Theodora Home.

About the Designer: Nara Ota is a jewelry designer who expresses a playful, delicate aesthetic through metalwork, creating decorative objects that embody poetry.
