TURQUOISE COAST
The holidays have barely arrived, and here we are already excited to delve into one of the subjects we love the most: our favorite summer destinations in Europe.
Our destination today combines minimalist architecture with white as its trademark, impeccable Mediterranean cuisine, beachfront decks, soft sand, windsurfing over turquoise water (literally) and an unpretentious nightlife. Turquoise Coast, we just love you!
WHERE TO STAY
To start our tips, the places that you can't miss on your itinerary:
-
MAÇAKIZI
@macakizihotelThe hotel is intimate, and the best and perfect place to extend from sundown to lunch. The scenery of Mediterranean vegetation frames the view of the sea between bougainvilles that catch our eye. A special highlight is the local playlist and hamman at its spa, which is a must-stop after a day in the sun.
-
MANDARIN ORIENTAL
@mo_hotelsThe best of both worlds: it's a classic Mandarin, and Mediterranean setting on the edge of the Aegean Sea. Can't go wrong!
-
SIX SENSES
Anyone who has stayed at a Six Senses probably doesn't give up the wellness experiences and rituals that we love, so valued by the chain that combines the best of hospitality with the most unpretentious atmosphere... the famous aftermarket luxury we love.
WHERE TO EAT
When we talk about the coast of the Coast of Turkey, these are our MUST go restaurants:
-
LUCCA BY THE SEA
@lucca_styleA hyped classic for those who live where Istanbul's hippest Turks hang out, in Bebek, now opens its doors for the first summer in Bodrum.
-
HAVVA ANA
To start the day off right, the perfect choice for a breakfast with a taste of the farm. Hot börek, sweet cherry jam, fried eggs with chili and Turkish tea urns will not be lacking. Did your mouth water there too?
-
AYANA MES
@ayanamesSummer on the Turquoise Coast calls for dinner by the sea! The specialties? Meze, grilled octopus, stuffed pumpkin flowers and boiled rooster.
-
PAPERMOON
@papermoontrIdeal request for those who do not give up good Italian cuisine, especially for dinner. At Papermoon, the menu is seasonally adjusted according to the freshest produce in season.
