RADAR: São Paulo
To elevate the cultural scene in an art and gastronomy context, we bring to you a program for the weekend in São Paulo, with what can also enter your radar this month.
Eva Jospin
At Casa Bradesco, the exhibition of Eva Jospin, ?Re-Selvagem ? Natureza Inventada? invites you to visit.
The French artist dedicates herself to transforming fibers and papers into imaginary forests, using manual techniques that evoke the complexity of nature and the memory of human gesture.
When entering the gallery, we are greeted by panels and installations in linen, organic fabrics traditionally used as support for painting, now transformed into sensorial maps of color, texture and movement. Jospin's work invites the spectator to traverse the space as if they were traversing an invented forest: each curve reveals layers, nuances and volumes that evoke trees, trunks and leaves suspended.
Beyond aesthetics, the exhibition proposes reflection on time, scale and presence, bringing art and sensorial experience closer. The artisanship is perceived in every detail, from the careful application of color to the availability of pieces, inviting to an immersion where memory and contemporaneity meet.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 8pm
Brisa do Barú
At the heart of the Copan Building, Brisa do Barú, the new child of the Barú family, opened as a new gastronomic experience.
Between fresh ceviches, marinated fish and preparations on the grill, the taste dialogues with the space and the natural light that enters the Copan windows.
The experience is intimate and like a sea breeze, perfect for a weekend in São Paulo.
Gato Sem Rabo
At Rua Major Sertório, 95, Vila Buarque
The bookstore Gato Sem Rabo was designed by Johanna Stein, who built a space thought to give visibility to diverse voices, with attention to literature written by women and authors who explore unique perspectives. The curation brings classics, launches and independent publications, creating an editorial experience where each shelf functions as an invitation to discovery.
"Que cada vez mais as mulheres sejam reconhecidas
pela força de suas produções intelectuais e entrem
nos espaços sem pedir licença"
JOHANNA STEIN,
fundadora da Gato sem Rabo
The space occupies a historical building, preserving architectural details that speak to the bookstore proposal: natural wood, diffused lighting and furniture designed to bring the reader closer to the book, making each visit sensorial and contemplative. Each selected book connects memory, aesthetics and reflection, promoting dialogue between content, space and experience.
"The Vila Buarque is the most legal neighborhood of São Paulo.
The sex appeal of a neighborhood is in the diversity of people on the street - something that, apparently, scares some people."
GUIL BLANCHE,
Fundador da incorporadora Planta. Inc.
