Kinda Chic
What's feeling kinda chic right now? Consider this our edit of the little things worth noticing?
There's something about Sunday that deserves a little more intention. Just a slower pace, a longer table, good coffee and nowhere you absolutely need to be. Sunday is having a moment. And we're here for it.
Might be the sunlight or the ritual. Either way, coffee somehow tastes better outside. Anywhere that lets coffee time take a little longer.
Leaving your phone somewhere out of reach and letting a few hours pass by unnoticed? No need to know what everyone else is doing. Consider it, a little re-set, a few hours that belong entirely to you. Sometimes, disappearing for a bit is the plan.
The good glasses, the linen napkins, the silver you've been saving for a special occasion. The special occasion is for your making. An ordinary day is reason enough to use the things you love, rather than waiting for the right moment.
Just because a table full of greens happens to look, and taste, very good. Fresh, seasonal, generously dressed. The fresher, the better. Make room for the green stuff.
Forget the traditional main course. A table full of things to pick from, pass around and go back to, feels much more interesting. Give us the roasted vegetables, the perfect salad, the warm bread and everything in between.
Start with lunch. Stay for everything that comes after. One more glass, another plate, coffee at an unreasonable hour. Stories get longer. Glasses get refilled. Nobody seems particularly interested in leaving. Exactly as it should be.
