Read Your Color

If you haven't received it from a book club, a friend who shares readings, or someone in your family, it's time to discover your reading color.

Between excerpts, synopses and readings, the test identifies who you are as a reader, whether through reflection, story or heart. In the search to transform reading into a habit, nothing beats a genre guide thought out for you, in a genuine way and without trends.

The result is one of six colors, and a list of reading suggestions that you will love to start. And if you are a regular reader, you might be surprised to find that someone has mapped exactly your last readings.

THE BOOK CLUB EDIT

Comes from our sense of connection and community, the search to deepen interests, give space to discipline and critical thinking that we build through reading.

Communities, and book clubs help us to perfect our reading ritual. We invite some friends, clients and inspiring women from our team, to recommend books that are on your list or journey as readers.

1. ESTRANHOS: VESTÍGIOS DE UM CASAMENTO
Belle Burden

Belle Burden believed to know her own story until the abrupt end of a twenty-year marriage forced her to reread everything that seemed secure.

More than a memory about infidelity, Estranhos investigates the silences, the concessions and the versions of ourselves that we build within a relationship. It is, above all, a book about recovering the authorship of one's own life.

3. EDUCATED
Tara Westover

Born in a survivalist family isolated in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover entered a classroom for the first time at seventeen. Years later, she reached Harvard and earned a PhD from Cambridge.

Educated brings the intimate price of learning to name what formed us, and realizing that knowing more can make it impossible to return to who we were. Education as expansion, freedom and, inevitably, rupture.

4. BONS TEMPOS: YESTERYEAR
Caro Claire Burke

Natalie Heller Mills transformed the fantasy of the perfect traditional wife into content, influence and business. Until she woke up in 1855, inside the past that she spent her life romanticizing.

Between satire and psychological suspense, Bons tempos places on the table the performance of femininity, domestic work, religion, motherhood and the carefully edited aesthetics of tradwives.

5. O DESAPARECIMENTO DOS RITUAIS: UMA TOPOLOGIA DO PRESENTE
Byung-Chul Han

A brief book, but with a long life after the last page.

Byung-Chul Han observes what we lose when the shared gestures cease to organize our time: continuity, belonging, presence and community.
