The Travel Edit
We open space for nature, in an ancestral and restorative way, and new destinations on our radar.
From healing farms to spas, a curated selection of 05 new hotels to keep an eye on.
GRAND HOTEL SON NET MALLORCA
At the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, in Mallorca, the Grand Hotel Son Net occupies a 17th-century property surrounded by gardens, orchards, vineyards and organic gardens typical of the Mediterranean and unpretentious lifestyle of the region.
The old house preserves original elements such as the internal patio, the chapel and a well supplied by a spring, creating an atmosphere that mixes the history of the island, and the Mediterranean life.
The experience includes a wellness structure designed for those seeking to slow down: a spa with saltwater pool, thermal circuit, thermal, Turkish bath, Japanese onsen, ice fountain and five treatment rooms, as well as a gym with views of the Tramuntana Mountains.
The proposal is simple: disconnect.
BORGO SANTO PIETRO TOSCANA
In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Borgo Santo Pietro transforms 300 acres into a universe dedicated to food, nature and wellness, an ancestral sanctuary as they like to call it.
The property works like a small agricultural ecosystem, with vineyards, gardens, orchards, herb fields, forests and more than 100 acres of pastures.
Its rooms and suites are spread between organic gardens and a farm that supplies the property's restaurants, including the starred Saporium. The logic is genuinely farm to plate: the milk from the sheep becomes cheese and yogurt on the farm itself, while vegetables, honey, herbs and other ingredients follow directly from the field to the table.
It was also there that the Seed to Skin Tuscany skincare brand was born, created from ingredients cultivated on the property itself.
&BEYOND PUNAKHA RIVER LODGE, BUTÃO
The &Beyond Punakha River Lodge, in the Punakha Valley, in Bhutan, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. An intimate lodge with an extraordinary landscape of the Himalayan region.
The program includes sunrise yoga sessions with views of the mountains, forest hikes, temple visits, walks between rice terraces and lunches under orange trees.
The wellness also springs from the surrounding landscape, with spa rituals that use native herbs and the traditional hot stone bath Dotsho, where river stones are heated in fire and added to the medicinal water.
In December 2026, the invited therapist Vijaya will also conduct reiki sessions, craniosacral therapy, breathwork and sound healing.
ERIRO IMMERSION IN THE ALPS
At 1,550 meters above sea level, in the Austrian Alps, Eriro is a refuge accessible exclusively by cable car. The architecture privileges local materials and a constant relationship between interior and exterior, making the mountains part of the experience, even in moments of rest.
The programming follows the rhythm of the seasons: mountain bike, barefoot walks through forests and fields, skiing and outdoor meditation alternate with experiences linked to the traditions of Tyrol, such as workshops with natural materials.
The spa follows the same logic, incorporating natural rocks into the architecture and meditation pools supplied by springs in the region. A place essentially silent, organic and made to deeply slow down.
STERREKOPJE FARM, SOUTH AFRICA
In the Franschhoek Valley, in South Africa, the Sterrekopje Farm has its own atmosphere. Massages, yoga, meditation and breathwork are part of the experience, but the differentiator is to place creativity and pleasure at the center of wellness.
Guests can harvest ingredients on the farm itself, cook alongside the chefs or spend an afternoon in a ceramic workshop.
More than a proposed wellness program, Sterrekopje proposes something more intuitive: good scenery, nourishing food, restorative treatments and free time, an invitation to return to yourself through nature.
It's with a look at nature that we heal destinations that invite us to return to ourselves.
