What is Slow Living?
In a world that never stops, we can choose to walk in a different direction, the one that brings us back to our own rhythm, and brings us greater acceptance for imperfection - where every moment is appreciated as a gift.
Who has never been trapped in the concerns of the future, imprisoned in the past or even impacted by so much news and commitments in our own daily life?
We know that it is a true privilege to know how to appreciate what we have and the present moment, make more sustainable choices, eat locally, and pause, even if it is just by observing the flame of a candle for a few seconds.
The theme that seems to be addressed by so many and becomes almost cliché, urges for attention, overflows with emotions that we can barely identify and deal with when not careful, and more than that, is so simpler than it seems.
Slow Living is, in essence, a lifestyle in which we intend to slow down, where we give life to life constantly changing without controlling it. And we know that with so many demands, this may seem a big challenge.
But it is in this challenge that we find beauty. To live slower, it is also living at the rhythm of nature. With intention and purpose, we are able to achieve major transformations in our well-being.
Reiki, for example, teaches us about the Gassho meditation technique, which helps us find serenity in the now and anchor us in the present through the meeting of the fingers.
In addition to the concept of slowing thoughts, slow living is also about curbing unconscious acceleration, using what we have, valuing the connection with nature and valuing quality rather than quantity. He is also knowing how to say no.
We invite you to rest your gaze and attention in the here and now, and consciously breathe, at least 3 times, connecting with the inner peace that resides in every inspiration and exhalation that anchors us.
With some practices, readings and study of the agenda that seems almost unattainable, we have brought together some suggestions for you to test.

When brushing your teeth or combing your hair, enjoy pausing the thoughts of the day and noticing how you feel |

Have a book always with you, it can help you rest your mind in waiting throughout the day |

try to have a massage at least once a week, as a gift for you |
Tecnologia & Daily Living
It's hard to talk about a slow life when we have a busy routine and so many external stimuli ... But bringing a little more peace to everyday life can also be a matter of adapting to the tools we have in hand!
Therefore, we have separated tips on how to live a little more smoothly and carefree and can use technology to our advantage.
-Create a routine, inserting small well-being rituals of which you do not give up, and would like to live them every day
- Arrange your working space before starting it and prioritizes your tasks
- Use organization apps (we love the mobills for finance, google schedule for appointments, Trello and allstous to tasks of the day)
- Establish daily tasks in which you use mindfulness, ie, dedicate that 100% with full focus and attention
After all, slow living is also:
-
know how to deal with time
-
optimize the day
-
do one thing at a time
-
know how to say no
-
bring presence to everyday
-
pay attention to the stimuli given to each of our senses
-
be adaptable and be open to possibilities
-
Learn how to take a break in everyday
-
take care of relationships that are a priority
For this week, how about leaving the autopilot in search of more conscious choices?
